Josie & Pete’s December wedding was a winters dream! Not only did they luck out with the weather, the energy, emotions and atmosphere of the day was a joy to photograph. Pelham house is a wedding venue in Lewes East Sussex, tucked away on a back road off Lewes highstreet, you wouldn’t even know it was there. Recently renovated with a beautiful bridal suite and a gold and marble cocktail bar, it’s the perfect venue for a modern luxe wedding.

In keeping with the winter theme, J+P kept their colour scheme simple. Touches of silver with plenty of sparkle! Included on bridesmaid dresses, the table decor and even the Jimmy Choo shoes! For the guys they opted for classic black and white tuxedos for a luxury feel.

Josie wowed us all in her beautiful Debbie Rees Bridal gown. The train was insane and the lace sleeves just perfect for a winters wedding! Once ready, our bride decided to watch guests arrive and I just had to take a photo as she peered outside the window and as her dress flowed behind her, giving us real life princess vibes! I think it’s one of my favourite photos to date.

An epic confetti moment! If you want to achieve this look then I highly recommend biodegradable paper confetti. It stays afloat in the air for longer which is a bonus for photos and video. Plus it’s a lot easier to get out of hair! But do double check with your venue if this type of confetti is ok.
